The Swiss Model Aviation Association SMV

The Swiss Model Aviation Association is one of the 8 branch associations of the Aero Club of Switzerland AeCS with headquarters in Lucerne in the Swiss Museum of Transport.

The model pilots thus have a strong political representation vis-à-vis the authorities and the public sector as well as a representative of interests together with the other partners in the overall system of aviation, especially in light aviation. The strategy house of the SMV shows the interaction of all areas to achieve the goals in the vertical organization of the clubs, regional associations and the umbrella organizations.

The SMV is committed to all issues and topics related to model aviation in Switzerland, whether as a challenging leisure activity, in cooperation with schools and the promotion of young talents, or as a popular and top sport for everyone in Switzerland, regardless of origin, age or social background.

The Swiss Model Aviation Association is a self-confident, opinion-forming and actively engaged national sports association that is clearly and sustainably engaged in the social and political landscape, professionally and future-oriented for all its members.
